This summer we’ve been inspired to create more yummy non-alcoholic drinkables, especially with such an abundance of delicious seasonal fruits! Fruit-forward mocktails are a great substitute for the usual summer cocktails — so if you choose not to drink alcohol you can still get excited about other options.
Sometimes when you’re cleansing and everyone else around you is drinking wine, beer and margaritas, you need to have your own special tonic. And sometimes you just want a cold, fruity drink to help you beat the heat!
We hope this Watermelon Summer Spritzer does that for you. It’s cooling, hydrating, thirst-quenching and delightfully sweet!

Watermelon Summer Spritzer
Yields 1 Carafe
Ingredients:
- 6 cups watermelon, chopped and chilled
- 8 sprigs of fresh mint
- 1/3 cup sparkling mineral water
- Ice
Instructions:
In a high-speed blender combine watermelon until smooth. Using a hand-held strainer separate watermelon pulp leaving smooth watermelon juice. Fill a carafe with mint. Pour watermelon juice into carafe and top with sparkling mineral water. Stir with a long spoon to combine all the flavors. Serve in a wine glass filled with ice. Top each glass with two melon balls and enjoy.
