The weather is warming up, and for many of us, we’re able to gather outside again. That means outdoor gatherings with your friends and family are back!
Our personal favorite is an outdoor brunch – the temperature is warming up but not too stiflingly hot yet, and who doesn’t love breakfast food?!
So with that in mind, plus the fact that Father’s Day is just around the corner, today we wanted to share some of our favorite healthy brunch recipes to make for your next gathering with friends and family.
This Father’s Day, show the dads in your life how much you appreciate them with a delicious (and healthy) homemade breakfast or brunch. With these recipes, it’s sure to be a hit!
Each of the following recipes can be modified to fit any eating plan – from vegan to gluten-free to paleo, we’ve got you covered.

So without further ado, let’s get to the recipes!
Grain-Free Paleo Zucchini Chocolate Chip Waffles: Waffles – the staple of any good brunch. These are gluten-free, grain-free, and pack a hidden serving of veggies. All of the flavor of traditional waffles without the bloat!
Brain Boosting Smoothie Bowl: Green smoothie bowls are a great way to enjoy a simple green smoothie in a more elevated way – this green smoothie is packed with healthy fats to help you and your guests feel full and focused. Serve each guest their smoothie in a bowl, then let them pick their favorite toppings – like a sundae bar but with green smoothies!
First Harvest Salad and Green Garden Salad Dressing: Salad for brunch? Yes please! We love this farm fresh salad recipe – it’s light, refreshing, tasty, and will fit in perfectly in any brunch spread.
Vegan Mango Lassi: What’s a good brunch without a refreshing healthy mocktail or cocktail? Try our take on the familiar mango lassi – it’s dairy-free and vegan, and can be spiked with your favorite rum if you want to make it a cocktail. Bye-bye, boring mimosas!
*Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl (The Conscious Cleanse Cookbook, pg. 51): This beautiful smoothie bowl is just like eating sorbet for breakfast! Dragon fruit, also called pitaya, is a superfood known for rejuvenating the liver and delivering a hefty dose of antioxidants. Jules’ older boys ask for this refreshing smoothie bowl by name.
*Celery Toast with Sprouted Gluten Free Bread (The Conscious Cleanse Cookbook, pg. 163): This recipe is a great way to switch up the classic avocado toast. This goes well with a crusty gluten-free bread like Kim and Jake’s Peasant Loaf. For a grain-free option, serve on a roasted slice of sweet potato instead of the bread, or spread on grain-free crackers as a fun appetizer. This is one of Jules’ go-to brunch recipes for her family!
*Turkey Breakfast Skillet (The Conscious Cleanse Cookbook, pg. 77): This recipe is perfect for the meat-lovers in your life! It’s also great for those with an egg allergy or sensitivity. And since it’s all in one pan, it makes serving and cleaning-up a breeze!
*Blueberry Hemp Bites (The Conscious Cleanse Cookbook, pg. 69): These little blueberry bites are the perfect way to uplevel the classic blueberry muffin. They’re gluten-free (of course!), low sugar, vegan, and grain-free. Thanks to the hemp seeds, these make a plant protein-packed (and tasty) addition to any healthy brunch spread. Jo created this recipe for her family and will be baking a special batch for Father’s Day.
